A second paper, "Caribbean geology simplified", was accepted for publication in Geologica Acta, v. 4. It was reviewed, corrected and returned to the editors, who refer to it indirectly in their introduction to the volume. However, the paper did not appear. Geologica Acta informed me that the editors decided not to publish it. E-mails sent twice to the editors received no reply. The paper is available on this page. One of these editors reproduced my two papers stating: "Aquí se combinan dos trabajos de K. James donde presenta (1) Argumentos a favor y en contra del origen alóctono del Caribe y (2) un modelo del origen in situ del Caribe (página 36). Estos trabajos se han de publicar en la Revista GEOLOGICA ACTA, y se reproducen aquí con el permiso del aoutor." It is not correct that two papers were published. No permission was requested or granted.
